 Abstract:  When the Ponevez Yeshiva was destroyed in the Holocaust, its leader, Yosef Kahaneman, set about rebuilding it in the Israeli town of Bnai Brak and by 1943, it was already beginning to flourish. In 1994, the yeshiva held its 54th anniversary dinner, honoring Rav Avraham Kahaneman, the president of the yeshiva and the son of its founder. The collection consists of the journal from that dinner and another concurrent publication with articles about Rabbi Yosef Kahaneman and the yeshiva.

 Abstract:  Rabbi Leo Jung served as Rabbi of The Jewish Center Synagogue (Manhattan) for over 60 years, and was deeply involved in Jewish communal life and the development of Modern Orthodoxy in the United States. The collection contains correspondence (primarily from 1970s), personal materials, and writings of Rabbi Jung and others, as well as various financial records of the Jewish Center relating to fundraising and charitable donations.
